ChatGPT version of "Therapy Me" & my little therapy buddy Mack.
Supporting others has always been at the heart of what I do, guided by a simple belief:
🌿 Healing begins when we feel safe, understood and met with kindness. 🌿
I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can feel emotionally safe, genuinely heard and supported as you begin to make sense of what you’re going through.
Therapy with me is collaborative and purposeful — not just a place to talk, but a space to develop insight, build practical tools and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
I support people experiencing a wide range of emotional challenges, including:● Low mood & more longstanding experiences of depression.● Trauma & PTSD-related difficulties - including single-event, repeated or complex trauma.● Longstanding struggles with confidence & self-esteem - that sense of “not being enough”.● Overthinking & persistent worry.● Social anxiety.● Health & death anxiety.● Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD)● Specific phobias.● Body image difficulties.● Sleep difficulties.● Stress & burnout.
Even, if what you’re experiencing isn’t listed here, you’re still very welcome to get in touch to explore whether the therapy approaches I offer may be helpful for you.
Many people who come to therapy already have a good level of insight into themselves - yet still find certain patterns difficult to shift on their own.Together, we can explore what may be keeping things difficult & develop compassionate, evidence-based ways of responding that help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence & emotional balance.
I often work well with thoughtful, self-aware people who may appear to others as though they are coping well - sometimes even “masking” how difficult things feel inside. Many of the people I support have often spent years trying to manage things on their own & have reached a point where they would value a space to better understand themselves & begin creating meaningful change.
Depending on your needs, I draw on CBT, EMDR, or an integrative blend of both, allowing therapy to be tailored to your individual experiences & goals.
Alongside my professional training and experience, I also bring my own lived understanding of mental health challenges and of accessing therapy myself. This gives me a deep appreciation of how vulnerable reaching out can feel - & how powerful the right support, with the right person, can be.
Because of this, I meet every person with warmth, curiosity & deep respect for their unique story.
If you’re considering therapy but feeling unsure, you’re very welcome to explore the “What to Expect” & “Arrange a Free Introductory Call” pages to learn more about how therapy works & how to get started 😊
